Investigation of Valencia fans accused of insulting Vinicius

The President of the Investigative Court No. 10 of Valencia summoned during the investigation the three young men, aged between 18 and 21, who were arrested last Tuesday on charges of committing a hate crime, for having racially abused Vinicius, the Real Madrid player, on Sunday at the Mestalla stadium.

The judge will also take into account the results of the video transcripts, as this is always the rule in investigations of crimes of this kind.

The three who have been investigated must appear before the judicial body to be informed of their rights, which will assist them in the application of Article 118 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The court opened the proceedings after receiving a report of a possible hate crime prepared by the Information Brigade of the Higher Police Headquarters in the Valencia region, and this is certainly evident in the chants directed by Valencia fans towards the Brazilian Vinicius Junior.
