A German coach learns Spanish to lead Barcelona

One of the prominent coaches has begun learning the Spanish language, in order to prepare to lead Barcelona next season.

Barcelona is looking for a new coach after Xavi announced that he will officially leave at the end of the current season.

According to the newspaper “Bild”, Hansi Flick, the former coach of Germany and Bayern Munich, is looking for new challenges in the field of training next summer.

The newspaper revealed that Flick has begun Spanish language lessons, in order to be suitable to lead the Catalan giant in the new season.

The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona President Joan Laporta had previously announced during his recent election campaign that he liked the German school of training.

“Bild” reported last week that Barça’s sporting director, Deco, contacted Flick to inform him that he was among the candidates to succeed Xavi, but this news was denied by the newspaper “Mundo Deportivo.”
