Liverpool decides to get rid of 3 players

An English press report said today, Monday, that Liverpool will open the door to the departure of 3 of the team’s players at the end of the season.

According to the English Football Insider network, Liverpool are ready to allow Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Adrian to leave at the end of this season.

The trio’s contracts with Liverpool will expire at the end of the current season, and they will not be renewed.

Matip participated in 14 matches this season, before suffering a knee injury during the victory over Fulham last December, as a result of which he will be absent until the end of the current season.

While Thiago Alcantara recovered from a long-term injury, returning to the field during the match against Arsenal last month, but he suffered a new setback that may lead to his absence until the end of this season as well.

As for goalkeeper Adrian, the team no longer needs his efforts, as he has participated in only two matches since the 2020-21 season, and has not played any matches this season.
